A few words about me

    Zinovia was born in Athens Greece on 27/5/1976. She first took piano lessons at the age of 8 and started composing music at the age of 15. She attended the Philippos Nakas Conservatory obtaining a diploma in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue and the diploma in Music Technology, Sound Composition, Advanced Recording and Mixing Techniques, while practicing Piano lessons on advanced level. She also attended classical vocal training lessons with the established soprano Marina Krilovich for 2 years. In 1997 she released her first solo album as a composer, singer and arranger with the title Likavges. Since then she has been involved in many projects as a vocalist, composer, musician and sound engineer, collaborating with famous Greek artists such as Lavrentis Macheritsas, Panos Katsimichas, Giannis Markopoulos, Manos Xidous, Onar, and many more. Zinovia started writing for the theatre in 2008 with music for a play with the title “Best Friends Forever” written by Ioli Andreadi, which was presented at the Old Red Lion Theatre in London. In 2009 she wrote the music of the play "Fantasmata" (Ghosts) written by Stelios Katsaris which was presented at Stavros tou Notou Plus in Athens. Has also written music for the film 37 Memories by Angelos Spartalis which was presented at the Film Festival of Thessaloniki in 2010. Zinovia is currently writing music on an animated film by Aggelos' Spartalis entitled "From the earth to the moon" based on the book of Jules Vern which will be released by the end of 2012, while working on her own album of orchestral music soon to be released.
